Excy is still in business and fully committed to helping people move at home for rehabilitation, strength, circulation, and independence using our portable exercise bike.

I haven’t written here in a long time.

Not because Excy stopped mattering but because life got a little overwhelming in every direction at once.

My dad spent two years with a wrong Alzheimer’s diagnosis before we learned he has Lewy Body dementia last year. I moved my parents from southern Oregon to Seattle to get him into the University of Washington for the proper diagnosis. My mom became a full-time caregiver. I became her second line of defense. I haven’t spent this much time with my parents since I was a child. We’re making the most of it!

Around that same time, AI started transforming everything we know about business, so I joined Amazon Web Services full-time to be right in the middle of it.

And Excy never stopped.

Our team kept building and shipping bikes, because we know exercise is medicine. My mom rehabbed two broken ankles using Excy in her own living room. My dad pedals on occasion. I personally use Excy almost every day for strength, circulation, stress relief, and recovery. Our customers stayed with us — using the Excy portable exercise bike to support joint replacements, stroke recovery, MS, cancer rehab, POTS, Parkinson’s, injuries, and everyday mobility. Orders kept coming in. Returns stayed low. The messages kept coming in to keep us going:

“This gave me hope again.”

“I can pedal again.”

“Thank you for creating this.”

Then a prospective customer called and asked the question that finally snapped me back into reality:

“Are you still in business?”

A fair question.

Earlier this year, YouTube shut down our channel without warning. Our setup demos, workouts, and support videos — hundreds of hours — disappeared overnight. Every video link on the site stopped working, nearly 1 million views by our subscribers gone. It looked like we had gone dark…meanwhile people were still buying the Excy portable exercise bikes and counting on us to support them.

Over the last few weekends, I finally dug in.

We recovered what we could, launched a new YouTube channel, and updated our website so every customer can once again access setup instructions, workouts, and tips for using Excy anywhere — in a chair, in bed, on a table, or on the floor.

While Excy has become more of a passion project while I work full-time vs. trying to scale it, we are here.

We are still building and shipping.

Why a Portable Exercise Bike Matters at Home

We still believe movement changes lives — especially when traditional gym equipment doesn’t fit your diagnosis, your home, your body, or your reality. We are more committed than ever to delivering Excy and making sure every customer has access to the support they deserve. Our portable exercise bike continues to empower households across the globe.

Thank you for staying with us. If you are new, welcome. If you are rebuilding your own health — keep going. Grace and grit win.

Thank you for your trust and faith!
