Today’s Workout: Upper Body Stairway to Health

During today’s challenge, we will focus on using Excy as an upper body arm bike on stairs for maximum cardio exertion and strength training to take your fitness to new heights. We will focus on spinning, cranking, and pressing during today’s workout using a combination of endurance work, then shift to heart pounding intervals. If you don’t have stairs in your home, take Excy on a journey and find some outside or at work! This workout gives new meaning to “taking the stairs” and will give you an awesome upper body strength training workout that you might otherwise only find at a gym or physical therapy clinic with an upper body ergometer. The format will be 30 seconds at high intensity intervals with higher resistance training and 30 seconds at a lower intensity resistance training interval for 20 minutes. The live workouts will be available anytime on the Excy Live YouTube Channel.

Today’s Daily Theme:

Become Your Biggest Fan. Celebrate your health achievements. Make a list of what you have accomplished to live a healthier lifestyle in the last week and celebrate those accomplishments. Maybe you drank one less soda, went to bed earlier, and worked out more vs. less. Maybe you drank more water, shed a little weight or gained muscle, or pushed yourself to get more range of motion during your physical therapy session. Whatever you did, give yourself a pat on the back and think about how those achievements not only impact you, but those around you!
