Stationary Recumbent Exercise Bike, Floor Cycle, and Unicycle Circuit
On the heels of yesterday’s upper body circuit, today wanted to focus on legs! So, this morning we kicked off a stationary exercise bike circuit with Excy as a recumbent exercise bike, floor cycle for a total body workout, and the unicycle position. Stationary bicycles like Excy are a safe and effective means of exercise according to the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as the bikes provide the option for a low-impact cardiovascular activity. But with Excy, we add a little more power with resistance so that you can double-dip on cardio and strength training. When you sit on the Excy Keeper in the recumbent exercise bike position or even when it’s placed in front of you as an exercise bike on the floor, it places less stress on the joints then some cardiovascular equipment and since you can use your own seat. When laying on the floor and cycling Excy with the Keeper, you can really burn some calories and tone. We also jumped into the Excy Unicycle position, which is absolutely one of our most difficult, but highly engaging positions. We did a quick 20 minute workout. If that wasn’t enough, do it twice! Have fun!
